The night on which the 1st verses of the the Holy Quran Sharif were revealed to the Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (P.B.U.H) is known as the Night of Power [Lailatul Qadr (Shabbe) , Shab Qadr]. It is generally taken to be the 27th night of the Blessed month of Ramadan Kareem. The Holy Quran states that this night is better than a thousand months. Therefore many Muslims spend the entire night in prayer. In English Lailatul Qadr' known as the Night of Value, the Night of Decree or Night of Measures, Night of Destiny, Night of Power.

Ramadan is composed of 30 days in total. This holy month has been divided into 3 Ashras to make it convenient for the Fasting Muslims. But that is not all, each Ashra has significance in the month of Ramadan. “Ashra’” is an arabic word for 10. So when we say an Ashra of Ramadan, we are pointing towards 10 days. There are 3 ashra’s for 30 days in total.
Ramadan’s significance will be clear when we see the implication of these 3 Ashra’s.
The first Ashra (first 10 days of Ramadan) signifies the bestowments of ALLAH Mercy and Prizes he has in store for the believers and the Pious. There is a Dua’ to be recited so we can get maximum of what is being offered.
1st-ashra-dua (Dua for 1st 10 Days) in English
Translation: "O the Living, O the Eternal, I seek help in Your grace."
The Second Ashra (Second 10 Days of Ramadan) signifies the plead of “Astaghfaar”, translated as “Atonement” from ALLAH  for all the wrongdoings committed knowingly or unknowingly.
2nd-ashra-dua (Dua for 2nd 10 Days) in English
The Third Ashra (Third 10 day period of Ramadan) signifies to implore the blessing of ALLAH  for the safety from the eternally burning fires of “Jahannum”.
3rd-ashra-dua (Dua for 3rd 10 Days) in English
Translation: "O ALLAH! Save me from the fire."

Ramadan First Ashra Prayer: First ten days of the blessed month of Ramadan are the days of Mercy. We should seek ALLAH's mercy in these days. 
Ramadan Second Ashra Prayer: The second ten days of  Ramazan sharif are the days of Forgiveness, Seek ALLAH's forgiveness and repent for all sins.
Ramadan Third Ashra Prayer: The last 10 days of Ramadan mubarik are to seek Refuge in Allah from the Hellfire.
